Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Casa Noble Crystal Tequila + recipe

Casa Noble insures great detail from the cultivating of the blue agave plants to the lengthy aging process for the precise aromas and flavors of their tequila. Casa Noble is a distillery and also grows more than 3000 acres of agave located in the hills near the city of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico. The unique soil in this region produces the best blue agave. Carlos Santana, music icon and Rock & Rock Hall of Famer, is part of the Board and also one of the owners of Casa Noble.

Casa Noble Crystal is the “silver” or “blanco” type. The bottle itself is a beautiful hand-blown glass decanter and adorned with a pewter engraved label and top. Tasting notes: Tequila scent is experienced. A smooth minty, menthol flavor is experienced with a spicy pepper bite at the end. Rating: 4/5

El Beso Margarita won the Signature Cocktail Special Award at the 2012 National Cocktail Competition. It has a refreshing citrus fruitiness which is unexpected for a margarita. The cocktail is not super-strong but still allows the tequila flavor to come through. It has the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Rating: 4.5/5

Mojito Lamaica (Hibiscus Mojito) contains Casa Noble Crystal, hibiscus simple syrup, mint leaves, fresh lime juice, and fresh lemon juice. This cocktail has a beautiful purple color from the hibiscus simple syrup. It is sweet on the front end with a tart finish. Either slightly less tequila or more hibiscus simple syrup would make it more balanced. Rating: 4.5/5
