Review of Limited Edition Chef’s Series Tummydrops

A couple of years ago, I stumbled upon Tummydrops while I was testing some Italian recipes with lots of tomato products. My stomach doesn’t react well to tomatoes. During the testing, I sucked on the Ginger and Peppermint flavors and my tummy was soon pain-free with no stomach upset. Dustin James, MD, Board Certified Gastroenterologist and also known as The Tummy Doc, has developed a new Limited Edition Chef’s Series line of Tummydrops. They teamed up with an artisan chef to create the tastiest way to naturally sooth your upset tummy. The first series includes Double Ginger Peach, Tuscan Melon Peppermint, Blood Orange Lavender Mint, and Fresh Apple Cinnamon. These drops are Non-GMO Project Verified, Kof-K Parve Kosher Certified, and gluten-free. Let’s take a look at a couple of these:

Double Ginger Peach Tummydrops are made with dried cane syrup, natural flavors, and natural ginger extract. This may assist with occasional*: stomach upset, nausea, motion sickness, and morning sickness. Tasting notes: Ginger aroma; Sweet peach on the front and spicy ginger on back of the palate; Ginger could be toned down a little. Rating: 3.9/5

Fresh Apple Cinnamon Tummydrops are made with brown rice syrup, dried cane syrup, natural flavors, and natural cassia cinnamon oil. This may assist with occasional*: stomach upset and bloating. Tasting notes: Apple cinnamon aroma; Apple pie and candied apple flavors experienced; Very mild in flavor, more candy-like than medicinal; Cinnamon flavor could be turned up a bit. Rating: 3.1/5
