After a historic and
educational experience at the National Automobile Museum, it was time to head over the Whitney Peak Hotel and
check in. Whitney Peak Hotel opened in spring 2014. The hotel was originally
Fitzgerald’s Hotel & Casino, built in the
1970s. The spot is perfect for Whitney Peak Hotel as it is situated
right on the corner of the famous Reno arch.
- Travel tip: If you have a lot of luggage, it will be easier to stop at the registration entrance at Whitney Peak Hotel. The parking garage is across the street and lugging suitcases, even with wheels, and toting bags can seem like a long haul to the entrance.
The registration area at the
Whitney Peak Hotel is beautiful! It has a mountain lodge feel with wood-paneled
walls and earth toned furnishings. The front desk staff is friendly, welcoming,
and greets you with a smile. Registration process is quick and easy and, before
you know it, you’re on your way up to your room.
- Travel tip: Whitney Peak Hotel is a dog-friendly hotel so you can bring your fur baby with you.
