The booths are run by non-profit organizations with 100% of sales goes to their causes. Over the past three decades more than $4 million dollars have benefited more than 40 Southland charities. It’s a “sweet” deal for everyone!

Strawberry Trivia:
  • If last year’s crop of California strawberries was lined up, berry to berry, they would cross the nation 149 times. That’s enough to provide every U.S. household with 9 pint-sized baskets of strawberries.
  • There is an average of 200 seeds on each strawberry and technically each yellow seed is an individual fruit itself.
  • Eight medium-sized strawberries supply 160% of the recommended intake of vitamin C, 270 milligrams of potassium, 4 grams of dietary fiber, and 20% of the daily need for foliates.

Submit your strawberry recipe today and mark your calendars to taste the sweetest strawberries in California!
